About

Santiago studied in the University of Granada and has participated in workshops with artists such as Juan Genovez. He received the Spanish School of Paris Scholarship of the Ministry of culture in 2001 and the Fundación Marcelino Botín grant in 1998. Among other artists from the Iberian peninsula, started the initiative of presenting in Berlin. The space is called Invaliden1 Galerie in the center of the city. In 2018 he received the BWM painting award.

Ydañez lives and works between Berlín and Granada.
