Born in 1963, Pierre Monestier lives and works in Marseilles. He is a graduate of the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris. The painter constitutes his own dreamlike and strange universe. With a colorful palette, Monestier makes the seductive unpleasant; the comical, tragic, and the mysterious, ridiculous.
